Merken since centuries, has been the Chileangourmet copper spice per excellence. This unique blend of dried and smoked red chilies (ají cacho de cabra or goat s horn), toasted coriander seeds, cumin and salt is elaborated exclusively in the Araucanía Region of Chile by our natives, the Mapuches, ancient traditions.

Ready to use: Sprinkle on fish, shrimp, poultry, beef, vegetables, soups and sauces. Add to potatoes, cheese and pasta. Use in tuna or tossed salads. Great for dipping with olive oil!

Certified Merken will promote the sustainable development for 70 Mapuche families who will produce Merken under protocol conditions, using selected seeds for ají cacho de cabra crops with direct supervision of the Catholic University in the whole process.
